Deconstruction

Hear what makes up a song.

Separate vocals, drums, bass and other recognized instruments or groups of sounds. Each track gets its own slider and can be analyzed again in greater depth.

  • A track list tailored to the recording, including electronic sounds.
  • Go deeper: split a track into sound groups and merge them again.
  • Saved analysis results you can return to on your next listen.

The number and types of tracks depend on the recording.

Analysis on your computer

Works with local files up to 20 minutes long. Your song is not sent to external servers. No data from your device is collected. On first use, the add-on downloads the libraries required to work properly. An internet connection is needed only for this step.

Beta: instrument recognition and separation can be imperfect. Not every sound can be isolated into its own track.

How do I use Deconstruction?

    Install the add-on

    Click “Install in oSamp”. The app selects the package for your system, verifies it and opens the Deconstruction window.

  2. 2

    Choose a song from your disk

    Click “Analyze track” in the Deconstruction window. The first analysis downloads the required models; later runs use the saved files.

  3. 3

    Listen your way

    Enable “Play stems”. Adjust levels, mute instruments and listen to a selected track solo.
